Colin Mathews, founded Meriski - CMade Meribel
In 1984, Colin founded Meriski, since when he built the business into
what is now one of the UK's most respected luxury chalet operators.
Having recently relinquished his ties to Meriski, Colin now lives
full time in Méribel and has launched his new company, Colin
Mathews Alpine Developments Europe – CMade.
Colin’s
name has become synonymous with Méribel and, although the
main thrust of his business remains there, his expertise in all aspects
of Alpine development opportunities has been sought in many of Europe’s
top ski resorts. Courcheval 1850, Val d’Isère, Verbier
and Zermatt to name but a few.
Using
his expertise, Colin has been responsible for many successful developments,
and none more so than when he negotiated for and purchase development
land in Méribel-Village in the late 1990s. This project came
to fruition in December 2000, when the chalets, including his own
(see www.alpineinfusion.com),
were completed on time and ready to host the Christmas celebrations.
